Obviously, Wrigley Field is similar to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in that it has that same mystique to it, ... I don't follow baseball too much, but I know how cool that stadium is and the history and heritage behind it.

I look forward to the rest of the season, but until it's mathematically impossible for anybody to catch me I'm going to keep trying to do the same.
amends felt last longer longest next period race season time year
I had a Sonoma race where I was disappointed in the result, ... I wanted to make amends for that. That was the longest period of time I've ever had between races. From the last race of the year to the first race of the next season is a long time. It felt a lot longer than that.

She's proved herself enough. It's not like she's looked at as a female on track. She's just another driver and a very good one at that.

My goal coming into this season was to win the Indy 500. When I achieved that, I had to adjust my mindset, and the goals I had for myself. Obviously, winning the championship was the next goal.

Now when we get to Watkins Glen, that's going to be the slowest lap in history. I'm going to tell the team not to expect me to set a flyer on that first one.

Scott and I already were talking that we want to make a big impact next year. That's a goal. I had a lot of success this season, and I'm looking to do the same (in '06). It will be a very exciting season in general. There will be a lot of competitive cars, so we'll have to be on top of our game.

The biggest thing for me is the self-satisfaction of winning the race. I don't care about who gets the most attention. I've achieved something that's very special to me.

Then as everything, like I say, things started to come together, when things started to go our way, that's when you results started to come. I was no different driver. I was certainly learning every time I went in the car.
