We run up to forty personnel sets per game. My feeling is that we've got to find a way to get a guy into the game and let him do what he's best at.
game good locker room tried walk
We're so much about that. What I've tried to do a little bit, and part of this is for my own good because I'm very much like that, is to be able to walk away from the locker room after the game and go, 'All right. We won!'

We are not so smart in this game that a guy that has great athletic ability or skills can't be utilized on the other side of the ball.

We're trying not to get caught up in the highs or lows, and trying to focus on the things we can control. Nobody likes losing, especially these guys or coaches, but we understand we've got to play better and cleaner.
band basically people playing scene written
We're real people and we're a band that's been playing on the scene for a long time. We've made a lot of friends, and one enemy we've always had was the NME. They've always basically slated us and they've basically never ever written about the music.
groups offense personnel player team valued
We use about 40 personnel groups on offense per game. I want every player on this team to feel valued and loved. If they don't, how are they going to be motivated?

You have to keep going. The main attention is for us to stay alive and stay a band. You only really become very successful when you stick together. Just keep going and reaching bigger and better.
