days feeling fingers firmly fix followed happier hope hopefully issues last problem progress race races second setting six solved tested tried valuable win
We tested after Brno and I hope that we've solved the issues that followed us through the weekend. We really tried out a lot of things with the setting to try to fix the problem with traction and at the end of the two days I was feeling much happier about it. I think that we made some valuable progress with our race set-up, which will hopefully see us through to the end of the season. Fingers crossed, now we can really go for it over the last six races and try for the podium and the win everywhere! I've still got second place in the championship firmly in my sights.
bit came chatter dial final fixing fork front good honestly hope hot lap played progress seems seriously setting today trying
It was seriously hot out there today and pretty exhausting! Today we concentrated on fixing the little bit of chatter we've had and played around with some front fork settings, just trying to dial it in. We made some good progress and we have a new front-end setting to try in the morning; we hope that this will be the final key. Honestly we didn't really concentrate much on lap times but it seems that they came anyway, so I'm pretty happy!
blind carry couple downhill enjoy fast good great lap left sections speed stuff time tricky turn
I've never really done that great there but I enjoy the place. There's a couple of tricky parts, you've got to get a couple of sections right to get the lap time, like the fast downhill left at turn five, you've got to carry a lot of speed through there, then the same through the blind stuff after the hairpin (turn nine). If you get those sections right you can get a good lap time going.
diana oh queen royal turn
Diana called me Colin. But the Queen is too royal for that. She once said to me, 'You turn up everywhere!' She's very witty. Oh look! There's Iris!
exposure matter noise source
It doesn't matter if the noise comes from years of on-the-job exposure or from a source that isn't job-related.
expected island problems
I expected a lot more from Phillip Island but we had problems from the first day,
aussie bought cents dollar dump hold took
Basically, the old Aussie dollar took a dump and it was down to 54 cents when I bought it, and now it's back to 75 or 76. I've already made enough on it, and I'll hold on to it. It's one of those investments that I lucked into.
bits carried duties hope involved love reigns
She has never been involved in a scandal, she has carried out her duties superbly, we love her to bits and hope that she reigns for at least another 20 years.
ask bike few happier improving positive seemed step test today
We had a few things to test today and every step we made seemed to take us in a positive direction, so I couldn't be happier really. The bike is getting better and better and we just keep improving so that is all I can ask for.
chances developing exposed greater longer loud people surprising
It's not surprising that the longer that people are exposed to loud noise, the greater their chances become for developing the tumor.
fifth front
It?s not front row, but it?s not the fifth row.
break enjoyed family fishing generally gulf home mexico nice spent time trip
It's been nice to have a break -- I've spent some time on a fishing trip with my wife's family and some friends in the Gulf of Mexico and generally just enjoyed being at home for a while,
again bangkok bit chance cities culture enthusiasm experience given great hope keen lively local looked people race seems seen sometime time visit
It seems that they're really keen on MotoGP there and we were given an enthusiastic welcome. The people are so kind and it was no different this time, they looked after us really well! We go to so many different cities but usually only have time to see hotels, airports and race tracks, so it was great to have the chance to experience a bit of local culture for once and do some sightseeing. From what I've seen so far, Bangkok is a really lively and interesting city; I hope I get to visit again sometime soon!
