car confident effort good guys proud work
The racecar was really good. It was all weekend. I was probably too confident in the car in qualifying. The good thing was it was just cosmetic; we were able to work on it. I was really proud of the guys and the effort they put forth,
bottom chase cup example good guys line needs run setting trying
Some of the Cup guys trying to make the Chase are setting a good example right now of how it needs to be done. The bottom line is we have to run better than the No. 8 car.
guys neat
Those guys are really neat to get to meet.
broken definitely guys hit legs spin
When you spin out and hit that wall, it's a lot softer. There used to be guys getting broken legs and broken arms, and you don't see that anymore. You definitely feel safer.
chevy good guys knew last race stop
I knew this AC Delco Chevy was really good in race runs. The guys had a good stop there on that last stop and got us a chance. What a good effort.
battle bottom cool guys last line martin rookie shoe year
If Martin has the equipment, he's going to be there. The bottom line is every one of those guys can take away the rookie of the year honors. It would be pretty cool to come down to the end of the year in a battle with Martin like it was last year and have that shoe on the other foot.
attitude changes guys mirror quite race somehow

healing race car

train-wrecks wrecks ends
Train wreck, extremely fast train, but usually ends up derailed somehow,
dog divorce animal
That’s a divorce. You ever seen a divorce? That’s like her taking not only the furniture and the silverware -- she took the dog, too. (Harvick) didn’t get the animal, I would say.
fun writing creative
I know it's a lot of fun for you guys to write a lot of wacky things. Go ahead, if you want to. Get creative. But don't look too much into it.
race track people
When you can leave a race track and there's people in tears because they won and (people) in tears because they got crashed, you know, that's what brings us to the race track.
cheating who-cares matter
Who cares how you get caught? If you're cheating, if you're doing wrong, it doesn't matter what you're doing -- it's wrong.
sports stupid years
Confidence is a big part of any sport, but as far as sports psycholgy, I met with one last year before the season, and hell I just felt stupid after that, so I try to stay out of there.
