hard laugh lying point stay
I'd be lying if I said it wasn't hard to stay positive. It's to the point where you kind of laugh because you're so damned mad.
care everybody good needed says ugly
We needed a win, definitely, ... You can have good games, and everybody says we battled. No. We need wins, ugly wins, crazy, I don't care how you get it.
change last
Really nice, man. It ain't been like that for the last two years. There's a change in the atmosphere.
allow coming forward looking phone point port rings road tells until
I went through it once, and it's to the point where I won't allow any of that to get to me again, ... Until my phone rings and Omar tells me otherwise, I'm looking forward to coming back to Port St. Lucie again. That's the road I'm going to take with that stuff.
catch hoping league mike stuff whether
I was actually hoping he would go to the American League so it would alleviate all that stuff about whether he can catch or not. We all know Mike can still hit. If he's going to play there, he must feel he can still catch a lot.

affair ask bags baseball carry knows life tremendous veteran
He knows there is more to life then baseball and an affair like this is tremendous for someone at his age. He is a veteran now. I am not going to ask him to carry my bags anymore.
bounce good mean
We know we're a good team, but that doesn't mean a thing if you don't go out there and play like it. We need to bounce back quick.
good position
We're in too good a position to go backward,
Why wouldn't he? That's how a lot of things are in this game, in life.
spring ya
We'd need him then. But if we're not close, see ya in Spring Training.
hey road trip
Hey man, ... this is a make-or-break road trip right here.
eye facing gets guys strike throwing
He's one of those guys who makes you feel like you're out there facing a Maddux in his old days, when he was throwing a little harder. It's like if he gets down in the strike zone, he could throw a strike with his eye closed.
