We've got three starters back on offense and two on defense. We're very green, ... We lost our offensive line, quarterback and main wide receiver. We're running around like chickens with our heads cut off. It's kinda early. These endowments, we look at them as a glorified scrimmages.

We're still wanting to be a farm family, kind of. But we don't want to be limited to that.

We're not very well coached. We're not working hard enough on keeping control of the ball. We get something going and drop the football. Then we don't catch a few balls that could have broken it open.

Our special teams were super. I mean we gave up a (long) kickoff return, which was not good. Before (that), on our punt team, (Sean) Droese kept them pinned up all night. Our punt protection was good because they were bringing a lot of people.

He's just stuck through it, got his chance and now it's paying off for him. He's a portrait of a kid who just stuck with it.

He has run some offense in practice. He just goes so hard on defense, it's hard to get much out of him both ways,

(Foy) is a real pleasant kid. He's good to be around, never in any trouble and he has great character.
