I've been here once or twice a week since the end of July. People think we leave school every day at 3 p.m. and have the summers off. It's not like that. It's a lot more work.

I still get excited and nervous and can't sleep before the first day of school. I have an outfit all picked out just like the kids.

Two days is not enough time to get ready. Things are packed away and the supplies I ordered in the spring have to be unpacked.
