We visited with the Colts this year. It was fun to watch the best quarterback in the NFL (Peyton Manning). Those coaches are very experienced. We tried to put in a couple of their plays.

Nothing is off-limits. Coach Hawkins is very aggressive in his thinking. If you're always worried that something could blow up on you, you're not going to push the envelope and not going to try new things. Some of the stuff does blow up on us, but the tradeoff is the problems we're creating for defenses whenÊit works.

The best way to get better is to study yourself. Our players and our coaches are always studying. We have that attitude. When you study, you know what to do, and when you understand your assignment, you play faster because you don't have to slow down to make decisions. We like to play at full speed.

I think there's been some great coaches that have passed through the state and I think they just know how awesome it is in Boise, Idaho. When you have guys who want to be in a place real bad, I think that important. I think it keeps staff continuity.
