amongst coaches everybody group hold night players together
We got together as a group -- just a little airing out -- and let everybody say what they had to say. So everybody had a night to think about it. You kind of have these things with the coaches at times, and sometimes players can hold back and not say what they really want to say. But once you're amongst the guys, you can get everything out.
control entire finish game knock year
We just didn't knock them down. This is a game we were in control of pretty much the entire time, and we just didn't finish it off. It's kind of been the story all year long.
help number perform pride
We take pride by being called upon. When we get our number called, we have to go out there and perform and help out the starters.
found free open shots slip
We had open looks. We've got to make our open shots and make our free throws. Somehow, we found a way to let it slip away.
trust
If only we had an answer. Trust me, we don't know.
accept defense expect mediocre ourselves playing record
For us to be .500 and not playing defense the way we need to play, mediocre is the right word. We should not accept being .500 right now. We expect more of ourselves and we should have a better record than we have.
ad bringing change losing wait
I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see. Obviously, it would be a help, it would give us another big body. But we're just not doing the little things right now. That's why we're losing games. So who's to say that bringing AD back is going to change all that.
drove time waiting
But they were there, ... Every time I drove they were there, waiting for me.
bulls chicago horrible mediocre night team three
Night in and night out, you don't know which Chicago Bulls team is going to show up. The horrible team, the mediocre team or the team that's good. We have like three different faces.
agenda coaches guys head hear help mentioned messes players responding seem stop trying valid win
Scott mentioned something to me about it. It's a valid point. There are times when the coaches kind of seem like they're always on the players and players just stop responding just because they feel as if they can do nothing right. It kind of messes with your head a bit. So when you hear it from the guys -- that our agenda is to win and we're trying to help each other and be there for each other -- it relaxes you a little bit.
game happen last plays smart understand weight
There are times when we tighten up and put the weight of the world on our shoulders. We don't make smart plays or understand the game situation. It's just the little things that didn't happen last year.
bring capable coach effort full games given needs shows sustaining
Tonight, we really showed what we're capable of. It shows that we haven't given our full effort all year. Some games we bring it and some we don't. Sustaining that effort is big for this team. Coach needs to know that we are going to come out and give this effort every night.
caught easily loose test thinks
This was a big test for us. Everyone thinks you're going to win, and you can easily get caught up into that and play a loose game. It was important for us to come out focused.
buildings destroyed determine ease event help homes lives people towns tragic
This tragic event has destroyed the homes and lives of many people - people I know, ... Many towns are experiencing this devastation and have yet to determine what, if any, buildings will be saved. We have to do something to help ease this burden.
