I need to get some extra work in. Same shots I've been shooting haven't been going.
I needed to get some extra work in. The same shots that I've been shooting just haven't been going in. I think it's just reps. We haven't had that much practice time. I haven't had that much time to work on it, so it's just repetition.
We just had a tough shooting night. We got all the shots that we wanted, but they just didn't go down.
We changed up our scheme a little bit defensively and made them take tougher shots. Once we made our adjustments and changed our scheme a little bit at halftime, we started hitting some shots as well, and our defense picked our offense up, too.
This is a game we had chances to win. I thought our defense was really good tonight. When the defense is bad, I'm concerned. When our offense just isn't making shots - that happens.
Milwaukee shoots a lot of jump shots and our big guys do a good job of getting the rebounds. We're able to make some long outlet passes and we have the guys who can get out fast. Then we're off to the races.
It's not like a switch that I turn on (in the NBA Finals). I just want to be aggressive. The shots were going down for me.
They're probably one of the best shooting teams in the league. They usually hit a lot of those shots that they were missing. We try to take a couple things away. Take a couple guys out of their sweet spots. Still, they've got guys that can knock it down. So we haven't seen their best punch yet. But I don't think they've seen our best yet, either.
A lot of those shots were contested. They just hit some tough shots.
We were trying to go to him, inside or outside. He was very aggressive and his shots were falling, so we were going to keep going to him until he tired himself out.
He's one of the great ones, and the great ones make it easy for everybody. When he's rolling, everybody has easy shots and everybody gets the shots they want because they have to gear their defense to stopping him. They have to shift their whole focus.
I'm sure they get up to play us. Anytime you have the best team in the league coming into your building, you know that's the case.
I'm sure he was probably a little frustrated. When you're a good team, you expect to win, and when you don't, you do something you might not be prone to doing.
I knew it would be tough. I didn't know it would be this tough. I didn't know they would struggle this bad with the players that they have ... I don't know how it's going to work out this year, but they're going to be all right. They've just got to be patient.
