Sometimes people ask me, 'You do stand-up?' I try explaining what I do, and I don't think they really get it. So: 'Yeah, I do stand-up.' I wish there was one word to express what I do - that way, I don't sound arrogant. Whenever I say I'm a performer, people think I'm a performance artist: 'She paints herself white and pretends to be a flower.'

My humor isn't meant to be mean or hurt anyone. But it's to make them uncomfortable and laugh. I like making people feel a different range of emotions. I like to make people a bit confused.

The internet's weird. It's kind of harvesting the negativity. I think negativity has always been out there, but because people are hiding behind the screen, they feel able to express these hateful feelings they've maybe been keeping inside.

Even when I'm stressed out I'm not mean to people. I'm not constantly rude to people. But sometimes people are so rude.

So many people get deals, so many YouTubers get scripts and things made because they're constantly creating things on their own. Even if it's really cheap and it's really simple, if it's just good in itself then that's all that matters.

I have ADD or something. Even when I am doing something, it's me on the computer, I'm painting and I'm writing music. I have to rotate what I'm doing every 15 minutes.
best favorite great minutes
'Up' was the best. The first 10 minutes of that movie made me weep. It was so well done... even if that montage was all I'd seen, just as a short film, that was great. That was my favorite thing of the year.
almost consider good physically shocking wear
It's kind of shocking to me, actually, that I've almost been stereotyped, in a way - physically - because, I didn't get good grades in school; I got in a lot of fights. I wear glasses because I don't want something tugging my eyeball, but I wouldn't consider myself a 'nerd.' I don't know what really makes someone a nerd.
hate dirty thinking
You can't help but feel the energy of the audience - and if you feel they hate you that feels weird and dirty. But I would never want to take it too seriously. It's understandable that you're not going to be everyone's cup of tea. I think that's helped me survive.

I think you have to be careful about not hurting someone. The last thing I'd want to do is make a fool of someone, unless they saw the humor in it.
moving taken talking
It's interesting to see what people who you find talented come up with, so you work with them. Sometimes ideas come along quicker cause they'll come up with something and you'll be like, "It would have taken me forever to get to that point!" Because you're talking together, your brains are moving faster.
