Their defense is definitely better because of ... He makes plays a lot of corners can't. . . . If you have a shutdown corner, teams also have to go the other way, so you take away a good piece of the field. He makes the linebackers better, he makes the defensive line better.

I know him very well. I played with him two years in college. We'll talk and mess around. I respect his game, but he knows when that whistle blows, it doesn't matter. We are going at each other's throats.

If I can walk, there's a 90 percent chance I'm going to be out there, but I've got to be smart about it, ... I don't want to mess this thing up any worse than it can be. If I can't do things I want to do, then I won't go. But if I can do quite a bit of the things I can do, then I will. I won't say that I have to be totally 100 percent. I'm going to be in pain throughout the year, anyway. So why not play through this if I can?
