We come to practice and we've got the banner up. You really can't go anywhere without somebody bringing it up. The memory's still fresh.

With 64 teams, I don't know that everybody believes they can make it all the way. But you have to. Any given night, you have one chance to play your best game. You slip up, and you're going home.

It's more frustrating because we know the problem is ours. We're not doing the little things.
attitude biggest difference experience maturity optimistic watched
The biggest difference would be the experience factor. I'm very optimistic about their attitude. I've watched them, and they take their attitude from us. They play with the same maturity that we do.

It's always fun to get further and further. Going back to the Sweet 16 is good for us. Going to Albuquerque is somewhere we played before and that will help us.

This season has really been different coming off the national championship. It's actually been a lot easier. Initially, the fans' reaction was to go get another one, not understanding how big a deal that is. We've kept things in perspective, setting smaller goals and then larger ones.

Any other night, that's who we wanted shooting it. We were daring her to shoot it all night, anyway.

They showed us they weren't afraid. They took it right at us and got the tempo going. It took a while for us to adjust to that.

We talked about them giving us their best shot because they were a team with nothing to lose.

The comparisons to last year aren't fair, but they're inevitable. A repeat, that's a lot of pressure. With the experience we have on the team with the younger players, you don't want to put that kind of pressure on them.
glad next practice
I'm just glad that we have practice next week.
