This obviously could've been much worse. This happened around 7 p.m. prime time for Blockbuster Video.

In a situation like that, time is of the essence. And any delay to that can put the patient in jeopardy. In this situation, the firefighters were also in jeopardy.

We're very grateful for their participation. We want to raise the profile so people know the importance of moving to the right and yielding to emergency vehicles.

We're very fortunate that nobody was injured. We don't know that there was a motive for the shooting, if it was random or intentional, but if anyone knows anything, we want them to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

We do, within the city limits, have a lot of dry brush next to structures.

She gave her mother the best possible chance of survival. For her actions, the entire community should be proud of her.

We've had people in the past bring their propane barbecues inside to heat their home. That presents a huge carbon monoxide poisoning hazard, as well as a fire hazard.

This was a deep-seated fire because there is clothing, furniture and boxes stacked and packed away inside of the units. We had to pull everything out and spray it all off.

Nothing ruptured, but there was significant damage on the underside and side of the vehicle.

It is very dry and very windy and ash can easily come off of a cigarette. We need to be really careful.

Whenever you have a large number of people in a building you want to make sure they can get out very quickly. So they need to know where the exits are and they need to know how to get to them.
A lot of this is projected. There is a concern, but it's being addressed.

It could have been worse if the tree hadn't been watered.

He was fulfilling his job obligation. He did the right thing. He got the patient to the hospital.
