faces fortunate great helped loved manner music seeing work
I was fortunate to work with actors who loved music too. Just seeing what it would do to their manner and their faces was great and it helped give the story a little more soul.
begins classic ends great jam lightning pearl promise rock striking tale tragedy
I always wanted to tell the story of how Pearl Jam is the story of lightning striking twice. As well as being the flipside of the classic rock tale where great promise ends in tragedy. This is where tragedy begins great promise.

I remember loving that album. Frampton took me into the studio and played me that album and I thought it was the greatest party album that I'd heard in a long time, and so I wrote the liner notes and the album became huge.

earn great griffin patty pick ride ryan songs sort
I do, I do!. There were songs like Ryan Adams' song 'Come Pick Me Up' that was sort of part of the writing. The Patty Griffin song 'Long Ride Home' you just try and earn with your script. Most great songs are their own movie without your help. So you just try to earn them really.
create environment extra music telling
