As with all administrative matters, there are always several interest groups pulling for different variations of change or, for maintaining the status quo. Students are a central part of this institutionalized dialogue, but we are definitely not the only source of information or opinion that the administration must integrate into its decisions.

We had a lot of pressure on us after going undefeated (in the regular season) last year. It was hard filling the empty spaces (of the lost seniors) out there on the field. It was hard to find people that have the natural passion to be a leader. Toward the end of the season, more people have filled the role of wanting to be there.

It's important to the students and it helps build relationships between teachers and students outside of the classroom. You get to know them on a personal level. They step out of their comfort zone. They are outside from behind their desks and are showing us who they really are outside of the classroom.

Irrespective of Saturday's weather, we definitely could have played better. Although we were absolutely prepared to take it low on Sunday, in retrospect, banking on a final round rally was not the way to win.
