card games looking white wild
When the White Sox were 15 games ahead, we were looking at the wild card anyway. Now, it's up for grabs.
follow games meaningful night playing september teams watch
Playing meaningful games every night in September makes it fun. I follow what the other teams are doing. I watch every game now. I even went out and got the (satellite TV) package.
early games honored love meaningful pitch ready
I'm not going to pitch. I don't feel like I'm ready to pitch in meaningful games this early in the year. I'm honored to be asked, and in different circumstances, I'd love to play.
care urgency
There's no sense of urgency on our part. We don't have to do anything. Just go out and take care of business.
experience fell helped last
There's nothing like it. Two years ago we were in it, but we fell out in August. That experience helped us get to where we were last year, and I think last year's experience is going to help us in '06.
feels hurt last move week year
It feels better than last year. Last year it hurt for a week or so. I couldn't move around without pain.
couple exactly miss next pitches three throw
It does make me a little nervous. I can throw three pitches, miss a couple of spots, and Carl can tell me exactly what I'm doing wrong. The next three pitches will be right where I want them to be.
definitely hard last stay stronger sure top trying
I'm always trying to make sure my conditioning is all right. I feel like I'm working hard and doing everything I can to stay on top of that. I'm definitely stronger than I was last year.
definitely reason scoreboard staring
If I'm not pitching, I'm staring at it the whole time. We definitely have a reason to be scoreboard watching.
arm felt hit likes mostly nobody threw
I felt good, though. I threw mostly fastballs. I didn't like getting hit around. Nobody likes that. But my arm felt fine.
felt good row starts three
I felt good, and that's three starts in a row I've had a good fastball.
again fans huge nice trust
I can't really say I'm disappointed. I think the fans don't really want to put their trust in us yet, just because we're a young team. It would be nice if we could get the sellouts again ... it makes a huge difference.
chance five four time win
I've got four or five more starts, and I have to keep going. We're still in the race, and I have to give us a chance to win every time I'm out there.

It's not as bad as it was last year. It feels good today. I feel zero pain. Last year it hurt for about a week or so. I woke up yesterday and it felt a little sore. Today I feel no pain.
