both forward gotten looking ok parties point sure
I thought we had gotten to the point that both parties were OK with it. We're disappointed and I'm sure he is. He was looking forward to being here.
effort guys points talking win
I thought our effort was much better. Defensively we're just having way too many lapses. Guys aren't communicating out there and talking to each other. You give up (52) points in the paint, you're not going to win too many games.
easier fall five gives guard jason point rely six
It gives us a different dimension, because we don't rely on one or two guys. We rely on five or six guys. If you have a point guard like Jason Kidd, it makes it easier for everyone else to fall into place.
became chance chris compete dan drafted elsewhere guard obvious order point sign starting
After we drafted Chris Paul, it became obvious that Dan would look to sign elsewhere in order to have a chance to compete for a starting point guard job,
became best chance chris compete dan drafted earned elsewhere gives guard last losing luck obvious order point prevents sign starting trade wish
After we drafted Chris Paul, it became obvious that Dan would look to sign elsewhere in order to have a chance to compete for a starting point guard job, ... Making this trade gives Dan that chance, which he earned by what he did for us last season, and it also prevents us from losing him without compensation. We wish him the best of luck in Boston.
guy needs point second unit wait
I can't wait to get him back. Our second unit needs that point guard, needs a guy like Speedy in there.
call days five next passing practice wishing
We just stunk. We got tentative, we were passing up shots. It's what we call just getting tight. The next five days of practice are going to be hell. By the end, they're going to be wishing they had a game.
defensive resistance team trade
We just had no resistance on the defensive end tonight. You can't trade baskets or think that you are going to outscore a team like the Wizards.
against behind bottom careful coming game good ready team teams
We weren't ready to play, bottom line. We're a young team and we lacked to play a good game against a very good team in Indiana. We can't do that coming off the All-Star break. We have to be careful with other teams right behind us in our conference.
against bottom game good ready team
We weren't ready to play, bottom line. We're a young team and we just lacked to play a game against a very good team in Indiana.
guys neither push
What that does to us is slows us down because neither one of those guys really want to push the ball. We need Speedy back in there so we can keep that up-tempo game.
contested forced jump rebound shots
We got stops, we forced them into some contested jump shots and we were able to rebound the ball. We just did what we do best, and that's try to get up and down the floor. That's how we play basketball.
guy main missed played
We got our main guy back and he played like he hadn't missed a beat.
blew bottom chance momentum
It was a chance to get a little more momentum going, going into (tonight's) game. And we blew it. That's the bottom line, we just blew it.
