We needed to start putting some pucks on net and get some energy. Once we made it 3-2 I knew we had a good shot at them. It was obviously a different game than last time. The first game was a fluke, really.

We didn't even know what happened. If their guy pushed our guy into the goalie, it should be a goal. If not, it shouldn't be a goal. But we don't know what happened because they don't tell us nothing.

If we play our game, I like our chances. They're very intense games. We've developed quite a rivalry. We expect quite a battle.

It's high risk, but at that time we were doing a pretty good job against them. High risk, high reward.

They had us going pretty bad in the second period. When they got that goal to go ahead 3-2, that really fired us up. In retrospect, of course, that gave us some energy when they scored.

There's always that possibility. But lots of things have to work out for that to happen.

I like the way we responded after it was 1-1. And the strength of our team is still our defense. Once we get the lead, we're tough to beat.
deserved fate plays
I don't think we deserved the fate we had. After 5-5, we made all the plays and had all the chances. It could have been over, should have been over.
