couple five guys helped hit knew runs second teammates three walked
I got wild, walked a couple of guys and hit a guy and they only got three runs, ... When we scored five runs in the second inning, that really helped me. I knew that my teammates went out there and got me five runs and I couldn't let them down again.
felt glad good helped needed ninth stuff team
I did want to go out there for the ninth inning. I had good stuff and I felt like I could have done it, but I'm just glad I helped this team win. We really needed a win.
couple glad good happened late left pitches rather spring
I left a couple of fastballs up and I didn't make good pitches in the right situations. ... I'm glad it happened now, rather than late in the spring or in the (regular) season.
feels great hard help kept team
I made a lot of stops, but I always think positive. That's what kept me going. It just feels great that I can come here and help. It was hard for me before, but I always thought I was going to be find a place and help that team win.
best chance decision doubt players ready
If Mariano were here there's no doubt that we would have had a much better chance to win. But Mariano made a decision and he isn't here, and we were ready to do our best with the players we have.
couple obviously river shut situation
If Mariano River would have been pitching, I think we would have been able to win. Mariano Rivera, obviously in a situation where we scored, we would have been able to shut them out for a couple of innings.
country family jersey owe panama playing represent united wear
It was very important for me to play in this tournament. I feel like I owe it to my country. I have been playing in the United States, and I have been doing good. But for me to represent my country and wear the Panamanian jersey makes my family and my friends back in Panama very proud.
best felt games
This is one of the best games I've ever felt and pitched. I just felt like I was on.
came felt game seemed time won
Actually, I felt like if they didn't have him, we would have won that game because . . . it seemed like every time he came up to the plate, he was part of the rally.
fine major opportunity
If they give him an opportunity to be in the big leagues, he's going to be a fine major leaguer. He's young. He's going to get better and, hopefully, he's going to have the opportunity.
anymore business flights full kinds last left seats
Business is much better than last year, because there are no restrictions anymore on the kinds of passengers. All flights are full in economy, and there are only some seats left in first class.
country excited good hot loved opportunity panama people possible represent team win
I loved it, I really did. It was an opportunity to go back and represent my country. People in Panama are very excited about it and think we have a very good team -- some think we're going to win it all. It's going to be tough, but anything is possible in baseball. We could have a good team or be hot and things can happen.
felt mistake paid
I felt like I made one mistake and paid for it.
small
They do the small things that need to be done to win.
