consistent streak together winning
We're disappointed we haven't been more consistent and put together a winning streak here.
ask good guys hoping run took tying winning
We had our guys up there in the eighth, and you can't ask for more than that. What you're hoping for there is to get the tying or winning run on, and we did both, but they got a very big out. Randa took a pretty good swing, but just got it up in the air.
anytime battling character eight heart runs shows winning
I think anytime you're down eight runs and you end up getting the winning run at the plate, I think that shows a lot of character and heart of the club. They were battling to the end.
cyclical kept nice roll winning
We've been very cyclical with our hitting. That's what has kept us from getting on a roll and a nice winning streak.
build continue fill guys holes next trying winning year
You have to fill some holes each year. Next year will be a different club, too. Ideally, you want to have guys come up through your system, but in the meantime, you want to continue to have winning seasons. What we're trying to do is build some consistency.
bottom fought hard line winning
We fought hard to try to get back to winning the game, ... but the bottom line is we didn't play well tonight.
bottom came couple difference foot fought hard innings line ourselves shot winning
We shot ourselves in the foot a couple innings there, and that was the difference in the ballgame. We fought hard to try to get back to winning the game, and came close, but bottom line is we didn't play well tonight.
fine line shows winning
That shows you what a fine line it is between winning and losing.
anytime concerned game losing nice spring win winning
It's only spring training, but no question, anytime you win a game like that it's important. We're not as concerned with winning and losing in the spring, but that was a nice comeback.
finish finished game great talk win winning
It was great to win this division, but we really wanted to finish with a winning season, ... I know there's going to be a lot of talk about it, but there would have been more talk if we'd have finished at .500. This was a big game for us, to finish on this note.
mean took
When you first come up, you don't know what you're getting into. He thought he took too many pitches. This time, he's getting his swings. That doesn't mean he's out of control, just that he's being aggressive.
attacking focus instead looks loses men success tends
When you haven't had a lot of success up here, it comes down to confidence. He didn't have the same look he did this spring. It just looks like he loses his focus out there, especially with men on base. When things aren't going well, it looks like he tends to back off, instead of attacking the hitters.
deal injury mike
When you had the kind of injury Mike had, he's going to have flashbacks and you're going to have to deal with things.
believe four games three
When you do it three out of four games, you really believe it,
