help looked needed rotation starter
We needed help in the rotation and looked for an experienced starter who could pitch,
awesome bothering crushed face forget fought knee looked pitches tough
It's how you want to face him. It looked like he didn't have a chance. He fought off some tough pitches and then crushed one to center. You can't forget how awesome he is just because his knee is bothering him.
fastball looked
It looked like he didn't get it where he wanted it, ... It was a fastball or cutter out over the plate.
figuring guy hard hit looked mixed pitches sure time
We had a hard time figuring Hernandez out. He sure looked like the same guy as in '98. He mixed his pitches up and hit spots.
came camp great left looked ready
He came to camp in great condition. When Chan Ho left for the Classic, he looked like he was ready for the season.
ball looked track
He was out of synch. It just looked like he didn't have a feel of where the ball was going, and he couldn't get on track out, there so I had to go get him.
baseball concerned dwell left
You don't like being 3-7. But we have too much baseball left to dwell on it or be concerned about it.
concerned playing starting whether
We're starting to get a little concerned whether he's getting enough playing time.
healthy sitting
We're sitting pretty good. This is as healthy as we've been.
games
We're going to see how he does in games before we make any decisions.
couple good guys next rest streak
We're going to rest some guys the next couple of days. But it's also good for us to get on a streak here.
mike
We're going to play Mike as much as we can.
good job liked
What a job he did. He had good stuff, good command. It wasn't as pretty as we would have liked but we'll take it.
changes great job nice somebody surprise
What a great job he's done. He's been a nice surprise for us. When you make changes like we have in the bullpen, you need somebody to come through for you, and he has.
