against executing great offensive random shots
We got away from having so many random offensive situations. We got a little better executing our plays. Against New York, I thought we got great shots against their zone, and they just didn't go in.
again chance continue improve move next series win wnba year
If we can improve next year and continue to move ahead, we can get back here again and get a chance to win a series like this and get to the WNBA Finals.
against hurry moved second
In the first half, we just got in too big of a hurry against the zone. In the second half, we did a much better job. We were patient, we moved the ball, we made some shots.
ball flow game good playoff shot team totally
We shot the ball well tonight. I think we had a pretty good flow going. It's going to be a totally different game in New York. They're a very good team, an experienced team with a lot of playoff experience.
almost last meets points triple wins
We get all the points at our meets because of him. He wins the high, triple and long jumps, and the 200 at almost every meet. That's 40 points. We scored 63 points last week. You do the math.
gave
We had too many turnovers and we gave up too many rebounds. We got beat.
bit feeling healthier
She's just feeling a little healthier and getting in a little bit better condition.
ability bird broken came extremely game good last played seattle step sue year
She has the ability to step her game up in big games. She did that last year in Seattle when Sue Bird went out. She showed how good she was. When Sue couldn't play with her broken nose, she came in and played extremely well.
arm extremely gave performance pick sore
She gave us a tremendous, gutsy performance in being extremely sore and not being able to pick one arm up.
We think we're two-deep at most every position.
basketball experience players playoff return taste
For all the players that will return for our team, they'll know and have a taste for what high-level playoff basketball is about. Having this experience is irreplaceable.
air beard biggest game herself seen throws
The biggest play of the game is when Alana Beard throws it up in the air to herself and then makes a 3. That should never happen. How that's not seen I have no idea how a play like that stands.
bonded chemistry enjoying good great group players ride team
It's great for the franchise. I'm enjoying the ride as the coach. I've got a group of players that have really bonded together. This team has very good chemistry and they show it on the court.
aggressive found given good news playing talent
They were playing hard. They have some talent on that team. They haven't given up. They were very aggressive defensively. That got them back in the game. The good news is we found a way to win.
