great happy intensity played stepped team
I was real happy after the half. We stepped up in intensity and really played great team ball.
bar best corner cover daniel last locked played receiver top
Daniel is our best cover guy, bar none. He played corner for us last year, and we put him on their top receiver tonight, and he pretty much locked him up.
came played team together total
This was about a total team effort. We came together and played as a team, and we still haven't played to our potential. But we're getting there.
best improvement liked played room
We still haven't played our best game. There's still room for improvement, but I liked what I saw.
best defense played running shut wide
The defense was the story. This was the best our defense played all year. We went out and pretty much shut down their wide receivers and their running game.
lean plays sam
We're going to lean on Sam all season. He makes plays no one else can make.
allow rusty slow track
We're still a little rusty on defense. And this slow track doesn't allow us to get into our offense, but that's no excuse.
begins best far lose lost next season team
Our season begins now, as far as I'm concerned. We lost to the best team in the state, as far as I'm concerned, but if we lose next week, our season is over.
effort guys levi locker room
That's the kind of effort we need to come out of the locker room with every week. It shouldn't take a big play from Levi to get things going, our guys should all play with that kind of emotion.
help job needed
I thought we needed to do a little better job tackling. But we'll get better from this game. It'll help us.
douglas hit
I thought that was uncalled for. The hit on Douglas was really late.
mistakes simple sloppy tackling
Well, we were still kind of sloppy in the first half. We made a lot of simple mistakes in tackling and, again, penalties.
coverage gave problems
We gave up some big plays, and our kickoff coverage wasn't very good, which gave us some problems.
douglas good hesitate
Douglas has very good hands, and he doesn't hesitate in traffic. He doesn't play scared.
