ball continue lost offensive turn
We lost all our offensive organization. We can't continue to turn the ball over like this. When they made a run, we let down defensively, and that was the difference.
dwight everybody good hold offensive quarter second shot shots third tony
Dwight and Tony got every rebound. They didn't get second and third shots like they were getting in the first half. Because they had everybody going for the offensive rebounds, we were able to get out and run. That's what the third quarter was all about. Good defense, hold them to one shot and get out and run.
credit defense good heck offensive percent shoot shoots shots team tough
We couldn't make any shots and we didn't play very good defense in the first half, which got us in a hole. I give them credit - they're a heck of an offensive team. They're a tough team to guard. We shoot 38 percent and the other team shoots 53 percent, it makes it tough.
execution gave offensive quarter start third
We had way too many turnovers in the first half. We gave them 17 points. Our offensive execution to start the third quarter was poor.
michael offensive shots
Michael Redd is an outstanding offensive player. He made some big shots down the stretch.
basketball cost execute floor last offensive
We didn't execute on our last two offensive possessions down the floor and it cost us the basketball game.
execute execution expect faith flying gate harder offensive start work
I didn't like our offensive execution at all. I didn't expect us to come flying out of the gate to start the season, but I have faith in these guys. We've got to work harder and execute better at the offensive end.
basically came defensive early game good guys offensive picked production second shots
I can't say enough good things about the bench. I thought early in the game we lacked energy. Guys came in and picked it up for us; picked up our defensive intensity. It was basically the same thing in the second half. We got good shots and good offensive production from our bench.
answer difference game gave offensive rebounds tie tone
We had a tie game a gave up two consecutive offensive rebounds to Harrison. That set the tone for the end of the game. Harrison and Granger were the difference and we didn't have an answer for them.
ball care deserved efforts good movement needed offensive played shots standpoint taking
They deserved to win. They played hard, they made big shots when they needed them and it probably wasn't one of our better offensive efforts from the standpoint of getting real good ball movement and taking care of the basketball.
offensive seem
That's just our nemesis with this team. We can't seem to keep them off the offensive boards.
against beginning detroit dribble game games guys honest offensive past similar top worried
This game had me a lot more worried than Dallas, Detroit or Miami, to be honest with you. Against those teams, you know your guys are going to play at the top of their game . . . in the beginning of the game, it was very similar to our past games (against the Hawks) -- too much dribble penetration and too many offensive rebounds.
hard offensive work
He's had some opportunities. He's got to work hard to get low-post position. If we're going to play inside-out as a team, he has to play inside-out as an offensive player.
active attacked boards defensive excellent offensive
He (Howard) was very focused. He attacked the basket. He was really active on the defensive end and on offensive boards and he did a excellent job.
