certainly develop dominates everybody fifth fourth guys league longer opportunity progress until
Sometimes big guys just take longer to progress. Not everybody comes in as Shaquille O'Neal and dominates the league right away. Sometimes big guys don't develop until the third, fourth or fifth year. And you certainly don't develop in this league without an opportunity to play.
eighth game road row season spot straight until
That's two in a row on the road after 16 straight losses. This season is not over until after game 82. That eighth spot is anybody's and is up for grabs now.
chicago continue eighth game season spot team until
I told the team the season is not over until after game 82. The eighth (playoff) spot to me is still anybody's and still up for grabs. Chicago doesn't think they are out of it, and we don't think we are out of it, either. We are just going to continue to play hard.
camp group guys hate hear love players playoffs rule season start training until
We're not going to rule out the playoffs until we're mathematically eliminated. I know the players would hate to hear this, but I'd love to go to training camp with this group of guys right now and start the season all over again.
baby birth distance exhibit kept mom opportunity peace public quiet since until
He has been on exhibit since his birth, but we had kind of kept the public at a distance until today, to give mom and baby a little peace and quiet and a little opportunity to get to know each other.
bit felt game looked morning practice rather rush until waited
He looked like like he was still favoring it a little bit this morning when he was out on the floor. We just felt it would be much better for him if he waited until Wednesday's game and he was able to get a practice or two under his belt, rather than rush him right back into a game.
ball continue lost offensive turn
We lost all our offensive organization. We can't continue to turn the ball over like this. When they made a run, we let down defensively, and that was the difference.
explore improve trade whether
We have to explore it. Whether it's the D-League or doing something trade-wise, we have to explore everything to try to improve the team.
accomplish along basketball biggest chance continue everybody feels finish finishing good guys impetus key next nice note positive season team themselves work
I've said all along that the key thing is that we finish up this season on a positive note so that these guys feel good about themselves and feel good about what we can accomplish next year. That's the biggest impetus and with the way we're finishing up, I think everybody feels the same way, that this team has a chance to be a real nice basketball team if we continue to work at it.
basketball expect half kicked respect team win
It was an embarrassing performance. We didn't come out, we didn't play hard, we didn't give this team any respect and we got our butts kicked in the process. You can't play one half of basketball and expect to win a basketball game.
bit guys smaller
It was a little bit of a mismatch. We had smaller guys and we couldn't keep them off the glass.
anybody continued dwight effort gotten grow monster phase
Dwight was sensational. As I've said all year, he's continued to grow and grow and grow and has gotten better in every phase of the game. But to get 26 rebounds. That's a monster effort for anybody and you don't see that too often in today's game.
dwight everybody good hold offensive quarter second shot shots third tony
Dwight and Tony got every rebound. They didn't get second and third shots like they were getting in the first half. Because they had everybody going for the offensive rebounds, we were able to get out and run. That's what the third quarter was all about. Good defense, hold them to one shot and get out and run.
ball defense gets great knows plays practice reacting sees thinking types
Even after the first practice with us you could tell that he just has such a great feel for the game. It's those types of plays where he sees how the defense is reacting and he's thinking one play ahead. He knows what the play is going to be even before the ball gets to him. That's priceless.
