allowed coverage joey looks man presence run teams type
Teams can't play man-to-man coverage as much because he's got so much speed, ... The presence of Joey Galloway has allowed us to get the type of looks that allow us to run the ball.
great job pass protection running time
You know, for their first time out, I thought they did a great job ... in pass protection and also in the running game,
balance football last passing run year
Last year we didn't look to run the football first. We were a passing team. We have more balance now.
feeds football last limit run team year
They make a lot of plays. This team feeds on turnovers. Last year they were able to do that. We have to limit turnovers, run the football and be smart.
feed football last limit obviously plays run
They make a lot of plays and feed on turnovers. Last year, they were able to do that, and this year, in the first game, obviously they were able to do that. So we have to limit the turnovers, run the football and be smart.
aggressive ball behind both dan davis field great job left line majority pass protection realized running side time
I think they were really aggressive. I think both Anthony Davis and Dan Buenning were very aggressive on the left side. I don't know if you realized but the majority of the time when we were running the ball it was to the left side of the field behind those guys. I think they did a great job of establishing the line of scrimmage. And they did a better job in pass protection than I think any of us thought they would, so that was very encouraging.
edges front game good great guys last looking mix obviously run rushing speed stopping talented year zone
I think obviously looking back at last year and then their first game this year, they're tremendously talented and they have a great scheme. They have a lot of speed at the linebacker position, they have two guys up front who are really good at stopping the run and two guys on the edges who are good at rushing the passer. They do some zone blitzing, they play man-to-man coverage, they do all-out blitzing. They mix it up well.
left line push running side
If you look at our running game, the push that they're getting off the line of scrimmage on the left side is something we haven't had here before. It's been very impressive.
interest love respect
I've always had a lot of respect for Rod, and if they have interest in me, I would love to go up there and see what the interest is.
blame game goes learn until win
Sometimes, when you don't win as much as you'd like, a lot of the blame goes to the quarterback, ... Right or wrong, that's just the way the game is. You don't really learn that until you have to go through it.
helmets known obviously speakers valuable whoever
Whoever stole the helmets obviously didn't know that the quarterback helmets were the most valuable because they have the speakers in the helmets. The other helmets are $150 to $200 but our helmets are like $3,000. So whoever stole them must not have known that.
I think I could have come up with a better one than that.
ball kid points ran williams
We got the young kid Williams some touches, which was good, and I thought we ran the ball hard. But we need to put more points on the board.
bears best chicago content help player resign salt starter worth
I don't think any player worth his salt is content to be a backup, especially someone who has been a starter before. So I'm not going to resign myself to anything. I'm going to try to be the best player I can be and help the Chicago Bears win.
