body definitely hard obviously people run work
It is tough. You're up 'til 11, you're up at 6, and that's definitely hard on your body. But I wanted to work out. Obviously I wanted to run faster, but people know I can run fast. I have no regrets.
ahead backs choice competition everybody good guy looking respect running understand work
It's always good just for competition, but there's a lot of good running backs that are here and are going to work out, and I know everybody is looking at the guy ahead of him to see what he does and that's going to be no different for me. I understand that he's not working out, but that's his choice and I respect that.
became corner great job line offensive productive running safety
It wasn't just me. The offensive line did a great job today. Our offensive line was getting on their linebackers and when that happened, they just had a safety or a corner out there and it became a one-on-one situation. That's why we were so productive running the ball.
country facilities miami oklahoma recruit schools stadium
With the stadium and the facilities we have now, we can recruit all over the country. There are schools like Miami and Oklahoma who are always going to recruit better than we are just because they are Miami and Oklahoma. But with our stadium and facilities, we should be able to recruit anybody.
box eight line men roll safety teams throw
We want to run, but if teams are going to put eight men in the box and roll the safety down to the line of scrimmage, we can throw it, too.
game good great job plan receiving slow stop took williams yards
I really think their game plan was to slow me down and stop me and they did a good job of that. But obviously, they took the (fall) when J.O. had over 100 yards receiving and Brandon Williams had a great game, too.
against anyone carolina country definitely fast florida kansas north overall played state teams
I know Florida State is probably as fast as anyone in the country. I've played against some of the better teams with a lot of overall speed, like Oklahoma, Kansas State and USC. And I definitely think North Carolina will be similar.
given week
I haven't given it any thought this week at all.
great running top
(Irons is) a great running back, and if he makes a big play in the game, I'm going to try to top it but it's not like I am going to try to be better than he is or anything like that.
consistent focus good people run time
People know that I can run. But I want to go out there and run a good time just to show them that I can run (well) on a consistent basis, so that's what my focus has been.
against anybody ball gave knew move nobody surprised
I don't think it surprised anybody on our team. Nobody gave us a chance. But we knew they were a little undersized and we could move the ball against them.
definitely pancake running
He definitely had a lot of pancake blocks. He's just going to get better and we're going to keep running to his side.
chance difference good late possibly ready round second showcase throw work
I think I'm ready to run, ready to work out. You have nothing to hide. This is my chance to showcase what I can do. This is probably the difference between going in the second round and possibly going late first. Everybody's on an even (playing field); if I can throw out some good workouts, who knows? I could go in the late first.
good match understand
It'd be good to match up with him. But I understand it, and that's how it is.
