blink building good hard human job nature offense
It's hard to take punches. Our offense did a good job building a lead. It's just human nature to blink when things like that happen.
guys rally
They don't have to do it by themselves. There's the other 10 guys that rally around them.
dropped farther sort strong super year
The year we went to the Super Bowl, our D-line was so much better than our linebackers at the time. Our linebackers were so much better than our secondary. It's like, the farther you went back, it sort of like dropped off. But now it's strong all the way through.
extra good gotten guys might minimum money situation somebody somewhere squeezed sure veteran
It's also good for the guys like me because now somebody has a little extra money and they can go after a veteran who might have gotten squeezed out in this. I'm sure the veteran minimum is going to go up, so guys like me can go out and get a one-year somewhere and feel good about the situation they are going into.
ability athlete athletic athletics game great looks natural needs people react starting techniques trying understanding
It looks like the game really has slowed down for him. The athletic ability has always been there but now his techniques are starting to show up in his play. He looks so natural because he's such a great athlete but he's really understanding what people are trying to do to him and how he needs to react to it.
bitter feeling game left losing taste worst
This left a bitter taste in my mouth. Losing a championship game is the worst feeling in the world.
aggressive defense establish game good identity run stop
This is the identity we want. We want to run the ball, stop the run, play aggressive defense and just play our football. It was a good game to try to establish that.
bears chicago coming knew
It was smash-mouth football. We knew that coming in. This is the Chicago Bears and that's their tradition. We can play that kind of football.
across beat break deep good guys liable line name receiver return short somebody talking
You tell me one receiver out there right now that's doing the things he's doing. There's some guys who are having good games, but I'm talking about somebody who can give you across the middle, the short yardage, and beat you deep at any time? And line up at punt return and be liable to break it? You name me one that's doing it.
bully chance face finally growing top
It's like growing up. You get slapped in the face by a bully for so long, that when you finally get your chance to be on top you want to spank him.
coaches guys lifting spending talking time week worry
They've been there. They know what the hoopla is all about. They know how to go through the week and prepare. Now, the coaches don't have to worry about impressing what you need to know. Now, without even talking about it, you see guys spending more time on film or lifting more or communicating more.
chance matters moon
We're in, so we've got a chance to do it. That's the only thing that matters to us. If they have shuttles going to the moon and we have to go up there and play on the moon, we'll go do it.
bad bit call forgot handle hopefully hurt knows last phone pick problem scared sure though
I know how bad it hurt him not to be out there last year. Hopefully he'll handle it a little bit better this time. We're going to make sure that he knows we're here for him, and that he can still come around even though he's hurt. Don't be scared to pick up the phone and call one of us if he has a problem - because he's still part of this family. We don't want him to ever feel that just because he's not here every day, we forgot about him.
citizens defensive football great guys lost player
Being a defensive lineman, Reggie is one of the guys I always watched. And he was an inspiration off the field, too. We lost a great football player today, and we lost a great citizen.
