Irwin and Scherer pretty well dominated. Those two are wrestling about the best they can right now. Kiefer comes into the tournament 2-0, and coming off mono to finish second. That's phenomenal for him.

He was a big part of the leadership of our senior class. He has a work ethic that just seemed to inject energy into everyone else.

Someone is going to have to step up that's not supposed to. We're just evenly matched with them (Pirates). And the underclassmen have to realize that this might be their best shot. You just can't count on next year. This could be the year.

In our dual with them (Mishawaka), they beat us by 12, but without Tyler Baker in the lineup. With Tyler in there, I believe it would be at last a two-point match.

I really believe without Humphrey there, Matt could have been a three-time champ. Unfortunately for Matt, Humphrey was one of the best kids in the nation. But his dedication and commitment earned him a title this season.
