break forced open playing
When we were playing with the lead, it forced them to open up a little bit. The onus is on us to break the trap.
fun hockey holding hooking playing
Playing hockey is fun. Going out and hooking and holding really isn't fun.
answer great minute playing
We were in such control, and then to give it away like that, it's just embarrassing. It summed up the whole series. We were playing great hockey, playing great hockey, and then it was a 6-7 minute collapse. Who has an answer for that?
defense harder playing regardless scoring six tight whether win work
They're playing tight defense and working hard, and regardless of what it's called, we have to work harder and win games. Whether we win them scoring six goals, or one goal, we just have to win games.
guys heard odd played player playing suspected taking talk
Are guys going to get discovered? Sure, we've got over 700 players; we're going to have the odd guy. But I've been playing for 18 years, and I've never heard a player talk about its benefits, I've never heard of a player taking it; I've never suspected a player I've played with is taking it.
coach fit football guy hear job news playing playoff scoring since talked team theme training
Since the first day of training camp, he talked about us playing more like a playoff team and scoring playoff-style goals. It's a theme we hear every day. Sometimes you don't like the news the coach is delivering, but he's the coach. It's not his job to fit in with us. It's our job to fit in with him. You need one guy in charge, and he's the guy.
came constantly flat jump period playing tone
I think our first period kind of killed us, ... We came out flat and they came out with a lot more jump than us, and that kind of set the tone for the whole game, that we were constantly playing catch-up.
halloween years family-and-friends
Since I was 15 years old I've never been able to spend Christmas, Halloween or Thanksgiving (with friends and family). This was the first time I was able to enjoy a Super Bowl.
hockey thinking facts
I think he knows all my tricks. Or the fact I don't have any tricks
guy stuff way
I usually call the new guy and let him know where I like to sit on the bus, tell him ways he can stay out of my way, make sure he knows not to touch any of my stuff.
summer past levels
When I signed this past summer, Lou Lamoriello, Jacques Lemaire, and I agreed that if we were unable to find a suitable fit in which I would be able to compete and contribute at the level I expect from myself, then I would simply step aside.
hockey years nhl
Over the years, Steve has come to understand I need the clicker. He says it's my security blanket.
football moving hockey
Is hockey hard? I don't know, you tell me. We need to have the strength and power of a football player, the stamina of a marathon runner, and the concentration of a brain surgeon. But we need to put all this together while moving at high speeds on a cold and slippery surface while 5 other guys use clubs to try and kill us. Oh yeah, did I mention that this whole time we're standing on blades 1/8 of an inch thick? Is ice hockey hard? I don't know, you tell me. Next question.
build care feels goal good happy hope nice please provide situation win
It feels good because obviously, you please your teammates. They're not just meaningless goals. You play to win games. You want to be in a situation to get a big goal and provide a win. It's a nice milestone. I don't really care too much for most of those but this one I'm happy with and hope to build on.
