We had a plan that all the Acura cars would stay together and use the draft, ... I was gaining on Eric (Curran) and everything went well when I put that one lap together.

We had a plan and that was that all of the orange and white cars were going to stay together and hopefully use the draft and stay quick, ... I was catching Eric (Curran) by quite a bit and I thought that it wasn't going to be as good of a lap but it turned out it was excellent.

I feel race wasn't necessarily a motivating issue, but because race is involved, it is something that being a university on the state level, a public university, that it is something that they need to consider when making decisions like this.
community drastic gets parents past turnaround younger
When you make a drastic turnaround like we have the past two years, it gets the community involved. Some of the younger kids, their parents are getting involved. It's really a community-based project.
best finish great running top
Up to that point, my best finish was a 12th. So, to now be running consistently in the top 10 every race, and now the top five, it has been great. I'm just having a great year.
extra ready
You have to be extra ready to come out and play the first point.
biggest definitely junior titles
For me, it was definitely one of my biggest accomplishments to date, ... The junior titles are awesome, but they don't compare.
