We hit the ball very, very well tonight and we got a lot out of our pitching staff. The kids came out and threw the ball very well.

The pitching looked good and the defense looked pretty good. It took a little while to get our bats warm, but we hit the ball from the get-go we just hit it at them.

We stole bases like there was no tomorrow and put guys in scoring position. We did a real good job of running the bases. They didn't hold us very tight.

I thought our young pitchers did a phenomenal job. But we did not help them defensively. We made a lot of silly errors.
bats looked outside slow time
We looked real slow with the bats tonight. Being outside for the first time with live pitching, that was a tell-tale sign.
along fry good kids night
Along with Zach Fry having a pretty good night on the mound, the kids didn't give up. That was the big thing for us.
