bet gladly johnny pay
I actually bet Johnny Andrews $286.67 that I was going to miss. I'll gladly pay him now.
bad blend full guys looks mechanics nice pace putt routine worry
He looks comfortable over putts and to me, he doesn't take as long to putt as he does full shots. His routine is consistent. He's got a simple-looking stroke, with nice pace and flow, a blend of mechanics and pace. But I always think guys who putt well are more fearless. They don't worry about the three-putt or the bad putt. They don't take that with them.
believe turned understand
I don?t understand it. I can?t believe they turned us down.
nervous record tournament track winning
My track record after winning a tournament is abysmal, ... I'll be ready. I'll be nervous tomorrow. The win makes it great. But even if I didn't win, I think I would be just as juiced as I am right now.
counting doctor fingers four hopeful months pushing
I was hopeful to be here. I was counting on my fingers what four months was, and my doctor told me that would be really pushing it.
came chance early played points
I thought if I came back early and played well, I would have a chance to make points early. That's still my goal.
afternoon bet friday gladly home hotel johnny miss packing par pay room scoring
Well, this was really kind of out of the blue, ... I mean, Friday afternoon I was in my hotel room packing to go home because I thought even par would miss the cut. I actually bet Johnny Andrews (in the scoring trailer) $286.67 that I was going to miss, and I'll gladly pay him now.
next
When you're here, you want to be here the next year.
hoped turned
We had hoped to get one or two of them. They all turned us down.
choice influence pushing
I was pushing him, ... I have to say that. I don?t know that I had any influence in Davis? choice to play here.
accept change course fact golf good grown helped helps learn move people players popularity stays
Most of the players have grown to like the course more and more. I think it helps that we don't change locations. The Players has grown in popularity because it stays in Jacksonville. The fact the Players Championship doesn't move around has helped people accept the golf course. If you want to be a good player, you'd better learn to like it.
You know what we should have done? Take Greg Skiing.
major winning
This is like winning a major off the course,
