It stinks for me, because he's the guy that I could really bounce things off of. He's the guy who I would have a beer with after the game and talk about the game with. It's good to get your feet wet in a little bit of a sloppier situation rather than a one-run game or a tie game. We had a five-run lead, so we had to attack the hitters and force them to earn their way on base. I'm not going to try and trick them. And that kind of plays in hand to what Taylor does generally anyway.

It's a combination of things. When you have a record like that, it's got to be some luck. But he's also one of the best pitchers in the league and certainly that's a big part of it.

It's a different team in two ways. One, we don't have Carlos Beltran , Jeff Kent and Jeff Bagwell . On the flip side, we didn't have a healthy Andy Pettitte (last year). ... I'd like to assemble a team with last year's lineup and this year's pitching.

There's absolutely no excuse for throwing a piece of equipment on an umpire or any player. You can argue your point and at times may accidentally bump an umpire, but to consciously throw a piece of equipment at someone is unforgivable.
