I've never seen him like that. He said he doesn't like doing that, but he got the message across that we really needed to pick it up. He was really frustrated. You could tell how angry he was, but it really got us going.

Ever since that game, I've tried to play tough defense in practice. Defense wins games.

Scared is a strong word. I don't think I was that scared. We had jitters, and that was easy to see.

People say that. But I think we go in there, we know that it's supposed to be a hostile environment. We just say, 'Hey, let's go in there and do it. No one really expects us to do it, so let's prove people wrong.' We've done that throughout the year.

That zone sagged off us late in the game. We were looking for Tyler, but they had a guy sitting in his lap and a guy behind him. So it was tough to get him the ball.

Marcus made some big-time plays driving to the basket, and I think that's what he brings to our offense. He's a great driver. When he comes in and brings that to the game, I think we're really hard to guard.

We had expectations of making it farther than people thought we ever could have made it. We even said we could win the whole thing -- that's how good we were playing. It just wasn't in the cards.

The 21 offensive rebounds, that was crazy. We can't rely on David and Tyler to get all the rebounds. Some of the guards have to get in there. But 21 offensive rebounds, I mean, that's almost handing them the game.

He's a goofy kid. Everyone sees the big, hard, tough guy, silent, really. He's just a big goofball.

I don't think anyone was worried about (Thomas) when he went into the game. Everyone was confident.
