We wanted to take care of business here tonight and not get a loss and have to start all over again with the next game. My three seniors stepped up and were just terrific.

It was just a real, real solid win against a very good team. I think to win in a convincing fashion against a good team is very nice.

We showed our two-week layoff with our offense at the start. We were a little bit rusty.

Maybe that's one of the problems getting to be an older coach. I have so many good friends in coaching, and Dave's the best one. So it's not a lot of fun.

We were a little complacent that first half. It was a Saturday afternoon game and we, well, just didn't play well. But we woke up the second half.

They took us apart. And that?s a sign of real good team. You know you?re pretty good when you can take a big team apart like they did to us tonight.

That game will be a real challenge. But I think this is a good sign. A lot of good things happened.

What makes them really good is that they have very good athletes. They have inside, they have outside, they have a real nice point guard. That?s why they?re the top team.
