We had two practices on grass this year. The rest of the time was in the gym. On an artificial surface field, we would be out there all year.

Lacrosse is a space game, in terms of spreading the offense and running the fast break. You can't really get that in the gym. We got double the grass time that we've had up to this point.

I thought our defense played very, very well.

The kids played real well. It was a good game for us to have at that point.

There was a real turning point for us where we finally learned how to handle the ball under pressure.

Against Dawson, we started out very slow and got ourselves in a hole early. They were a good team, but I think we made them look better than they were. We just didn't get off to a good start.
