Robert Hartleyis a hockey coach who was most recently the head coach for the Calgary Flames in the National Hockey League. He coached the Colorado Avalanche from 1998–2002, a period during which he won the Stanley Cup. He also coached the Atlanta Thrashers from the 2003–04 NHL season up until the beginning of the 2007–08 NHL season, when he was fired after the Thrashers got off to an 0–6 start. We have the same team that we did before. But the race is getting tougher and tougher. It's only January, but we're already looking at scores after the game to see who's losing and who's winning.

Those things are all about timing. I thought for the first 10 minutes it was tough for both sides to get some shots. Both teams were playing very strong defensively. You have to fight for every inch, and suddenly a puck came loose.

It's too bad that we gave up that goal at the end, but that's going to happen. We found a way to come back and win it, which is a sign of a team that is desperate, but we're still on a mission.

It's tough, because if you lose, you obviously lose ground, and if you win, you stay there. We just have to keep winning games and hope teams start getting in trouble.

The turning point was the 5-on-3 that we killed early. If they scored on that they're a confident team and they would have built on that goal. Our penalty killing has been very good and we got some saves from Dunham on that 5- on-3.

You never like to see any of your players or teammates go down. There was blood on the ice and everything and when you see players and the referees asking for help it's not a pretty good feeling because you're helpless.

This is the time of year you wait for, and we're right there. Guys who have never been in the playoffs before will feel that pressure. We're approaching the finish line of an 82-game season. It now goes from a marathon to a sprint, and when you're bunched up with other teams like we are, it's not talent that will get you there, but commitment.

This is a big step for us. Who knows how many points it's going to take to get into the playoffs. It's going to be a fight for us. Not many teams from our conference will leave this building with two points.

That's a team that is one of the best when it comes to four balanced lines. There's no weaknesses and they are tough to play. So to leave this building with a win is certainly a big plus for us.
