That game taught me a lot about making sure of your throws. I feel like I've grown up a lot since then, but that game still is a motivator for me.

Andre and I have always gotten along really well and pushed each other to be great players. He's made me a better player, and I hope I've done the same for him. We are obviously going against each other, but we have kept a really good friendship. This game is really not about proving anything to anyone except to yourself and your teammates. We are just trying to compete every game. It's a big opportunity not just for me, but our team. It's a huge rivalry and always a big game.

There's no telling who is going to start come August because a new camp brings on a whole new look. But Andrew looks good. And whether he's starting or coming off the bench, he's someone who is going to help us.

Yeah, we had some trouble last week. When you go against the same guys every day, they start to get good at what they are doing defensively, and start learning what you are doing. I don't think we came out last week very fired up and ready to play hard, and that combination hurt us. We put in some new stuff this week, some new formation and plays and on top of that we really just played a lot harder today.

It's been a lot easier (this spring). When you have everyone clicking and everyone's on the same page, the offense will really start to excel. We're head over heels better than we were last spring.
fall great job line protecting talented trying
Our line has done a great job of protecting me and we've got some really talented receivers on this team. I try not to think much about all of the numbers. I'm just trying to get better every week, and if I can do that everything else will fall in place.

I had some jitters before the game. I'm not going to say I didn't when I did. I've got to play better if we're going to be a successful team in a conference like this one. I need to make a lot of throws that I didn't make today.
