Matt gives us a steady inside presence. His ability to catch the ball in the post and pass it back to the perimeter gives us an inside-outside game. I prefer having Matt on the floor, but not at the expense of his long-term health. We have to be very careful not to jeopardize his Naval career.

There's toughness and then there's championship toughness. Holy Cross has championship toughness. They have a will to win that you don't just learn. You have to go through things as a team and we will learn from this game.

Holy Cross likes to press up on the ball and the way you beat that is to get the ball down low. We couldn't do that consistently.

I like coming off the bench now. It gives me an opportunity to see how the game's progressing and what my team needs of me on the court whether it be scoring or getting rebounds.
