Each generation faces different issues and challenges, but our standard must always be measured by God's Word.
God knows what we are going through when we grieve, and He wants to assure us of His love and concern. He also wants us to turn to Him and bring our heartaches and burdens to Him.
As a Christian I have hope not just for this life but for Heaven and the life to come. And many of those people who died this past week are in Heaven right now. Night is coming, when no one can work" (John 9:4).
Either communism must die or Christianity must die because it's actually a battle between Christ and Anti-Christ.
I have a certainty about eternity that is a wonderful thing, and I thank God for giving me that certainty. I do not fear death. I may fear a little bit about the process, but not death itself, because I think the moment that my spirit leaves this body, I will be in the presence of the Lord.
