They can play with anybody in the United States of America, and they've proven that.
They are very, very disciplined with the way they play defense. They help each other extremely well. They like to take you out of what you want to do. They're very, very physical.
They want to stay together as a group and they want to play together as a team. It was their decision.
They were really showing signs of becoming a very good team. The last 32 minutes we were outplayed, out-coached and out-everything by South Carolina.
They were unselfish. They wanted to win, wanted to learn. They wanted to work, and they wanted to get better.
They like to go up and down the floor and we like to go up and down the floor. The team that executes that phase better is the team that will win the game.
It was great to see Lee letting it go and shooting it. He's always taken 3s, but the biggest change I saw with him was the confidence.
It was great to see him shoot the basketball and let it go with the confidence he did. The biggest thing I look at with Lee is the confidence level he's shooting the ball with. Tonight, he was just letting it go and shooting it with a great deal of confidence.
It was a fluke play, and it was a broken play for them to score off of.
They've had some very heartbreaking losses that they've had chances to win. They're coming off a big win against Kentucky. To me, they're playing as well as anyone in our league.
It's early, but it looks as though Tennessee is a very good offensive team. I've always felt like they've had talent. Major Wingate and Andre Patterson are improved offensive players. They are a team that likes to play in transition, like us. Both teams are going to get up and down the floor and do what they like to do.
It's a totally different team. This one is special because these kids have shown a level of selflessness and play the way the game should be played. They look out for each other. They care for each other. That shows on the court.
It wasn't just about this game. It was about all the games going back to November.
It wasn't the best shot. You're not going to always get a great look with the clock winding down. We didn't probably do as good a job finishing the play as I would have liked.
