We're in a good spot right now. Now we just got to gear up for (Central) and keep it going.

We battled them the whole way. We played well, they played well, unfortunately we came up a few runs short.

We probably played about as good as we could. Historically we don't play well down there so to come away with some wins was huge.

We didn't take advantage of our opportunities. We left too many men in scoring position.

We're excited to start our season and we want to continue the (winning) trend that's been happening at Montrose this year.

Our pitchers did a real good job Friday and we scored runs to support them.
hit needed numerous plays
They had numerous unearned runs. That's not to say that they didn't hit the ball, but we needed to make plays and we didn't.
four good kept pitchers
I thought all four pitchers did a good job. Even Quentin, he kept us in the game.
habit
I think we're frustrated. It's not something we want to make a habit of doing.

Landon pitched good too, unfortunately we came up short. Three unearned runs definitely hurt.
happy kids played
Our kids played great. We're just really happy with the way everything went.
road tough trip
Historically we haven't done well on that road trip. It will be a tough road trip for us and we just need to play our game.

Our left side should be really solid and we should be strong up the middle.
