division kids league performance pleased second time tough white
It was a tough year. I give my kids credit. The (MAC) White division is so physical. The second time through the league is just brutal. I couldn't be more pleased with my kid's performance all year.
game good line offensive progress running second shady team unless
You don't have a good running game unless your offensive line is doing well. I think we made some progress after making some unforced errors. It was a little shady but we got better and better as an offensive team in the second half.
course half saw second
How did he play? Not very well, ... You saw in the second half he was a very competitive young man. Collectively, over the course of the ballgame, he probably didn't play too well.
father fathers
I've not been the kind of father that I should have been, and the kind of husband,
correct father fathers nor spend time
I've not been the kind of father than I should have been, nor the kind of husband, ... I don't know if I can correct that. I'm going to spend some time because they have been so wonderful.
against best corner double played quarter team worst year
It was the worst quarter of the year for us. But that was the best team we've played. I think a lot of it had to do with them, not my coaching. We played well enough to still be around. We made a lot of uncharacteristic mistakes, like dribbling into the corner against a double team.
ball golfers greens hard problem
It was very wet. The greens were very hard to putt. A lot of golfers had a problem with that. If you're a long ball hitter, you were fine.
longer maybe thinking
I've been thinking about it maybe off and on for a little longer than I should have,
bit college fans game means rivalry
The Yale-Harvard game means every bit as much to the players, coaches, faculty, administration and fans as any rivalry in college football.
appears consequences elaborate position settle
There will be some consequences for Thomas. We have to let things settle down a little bit. It's not what it appears to be. And I'm not in position to tell you, to elaborate on that.
threw time
Every time we put him on his back, he threw to the end zone.
finds game hustle kick lift plays pure teammate
Every game, T.J. always finds hustle points. Every game he is going to kick in with pure hustle plays, and those are the plays that lift you emotionally. When you see a teammate make plays like he does, you've got to kick it up a step, don't you?
against beating care coming everybody footing game good hard playing record tough trying valley win
Beating Chippewa Valley is a pretty good win for us or for anybody. I don't care what their record is when we play them. They come out and they play hard and play good defense. They have everybody coming in playing their A game against them because they are Chippewa Valley and they are trying to get their footing right now and it has been tough for them.
anyone ball burden carry
As I said to Davin or any of our players, no one play (decided the outcome). I can think of 100 in any ball game.... No one should have to carry the burden for that. Not Davin. Not anyone else.
