finds game hustle kick lift plays pure teammate
Every game, T.J. always finds hustle points. Every game he is going to kick in with pure hustle plays, and those are the plays that lift you emotionally. When you see a teammate make plays like he does, you've got to kick it up a step, don't you?
against beating care coming everybody footing game good hard playing record tough trying valley win
Beating Chippewa Valley is a pretty good win for us or for anybody. I don't care what their record is when we play them. They come out and they play hard and play good defense. They have everybody coming in playing their A game against them because they are Chippewa Valley and they are trying to get their footing right now and it has been tough for them.
game needs process segments tremendous
He's done some tremendous things, as you've seen, ... and he's made some errors. The interceptions (and) the decision-making process needs to improve. He's got segments of his game that just need to get better.
defense game kicking minutes particular played point positive side together
The positive side is that we put together about 12 minutes of play where our offense, defense and kicking game played probably as well as we could play at this particular point of the season. That was only 12 or so minutes, though.
best colorado game losing special texas university
It's not about losing at Nebraska, or the Colorado game or the Texas A&M game; it's not about those things. ... It's what is best for this university that has been very special to me and what is best for my family.
bit college fans game means rivalry
The Yale-Harvard game means every bit as much to the players, coaches, faculty, administration and fans as any rivalry in college football.
both caused crowd game good job letting mistakes noise pressure run taking transition
They did a good job of taking away our transition game and not letting us get out and run and that is how we do most of our scoring. The pressure of the game and the noise of the crowd caused us both to make mistakes out there.
game good line offensive progress running second shady team unless
You don't have a good running game unless your offensive line is doing well. I think we made some progress after making some unforced errors. It was a little shady but we got better and better as an offensive team in the second half.
game played press sideline spectators
The whole game is played out of the press box, when you get right to it. Spectators on the sideline don't get to see very much.
coached doubt game looking mark marshall ohio ourselves played run silly state tape
There's no doubt there will be things that will be different from when we played them two years ago. We can run ourselves silly looking at Ohio State tape (when Mark Snyder coached there), this year's Marshall and looking at our game with them.
adds bad expected feels period saw saying thomas
Thomas is a better back than what you saw today. I'm not saying he was bad, he wasn't bad at all. I saw Thomas do some things during our two a day period that were awfully good, that I did not see him do before, and I expected him to do that today, but we didn't get to see it. When he feels comfortable with it and can do that, that just adds to his game.
accepts departing harm knows nor process responding thomas wrong
Thomas had no intent, nor did he harm anyone. He was wrong in departing from where he was, and he accepts that responsibility. He knows that there are consequences, and he is in the process of responding to those consequences.
anyone ball burden carry
As I said to Davin or any of our players, no one play (decided the outcome). I can think of 100 in any ball game.... No one should have to carry the burden for that. Not Davin. Not anyone else.
continue decent hope process recognize start
First and foremost, coaches, and then players, have to really recognize what are the issues. We're in that process right now. We got a decent start on it (Monday), and we hope to continue through the week.
