To break a zone, you have to be able to shoot from the outside or reverse the ball and get to the baseline, and then go inside. We did not do a good job of that either game.

Roxanne scored twice on lay-ups after steals and she hit one jump shot. She's long-armed and that helps her defensively.

I was only able to play Avery one quarter because she was suiting up with the varsity and she gave us a lift in the second quarter.

Both our opponents packed in a zone defense and we did not shoot the ball well. But we did play well enough on defense to get things done.
