american-coach biggest concern football left pick sure understand
The biggest concern I have is making sure we understand that we aren't going to pick up where we left off.
becoming certainly coaches dream flattering head help problem stand
I've never had a problem with that. It's flattering to be wanted, and certainly I would never stand in the way of any of our coaches if they have a dream of becoming a head coach. If I can help them in any way I would certainly do so and will do so.
bit bounce coaching front stability
You're going to have go through a little bit of that down cycle. I think when you have some stability with the coaching staff, you have some stability with the front office, I think you're able to bounce back quicker.
coaches deserving group guys happy special
This is a special group of players, these guys are so deserving - I couldn't be more happy for Mr. Rooney, the players, the coaches and the city.
anybody coaches eight hard hit weeks work
I don't know when it's going to hit me, but a lot of hard work went into it by these coaches and these players. Eight weeks ago, I don't think anybody would have thought we'd be here today.
coaches criticisms crossed feels felt game locker losing outside players quality start taking throw understand worse
No one feels worse about losing a game like that than the players and coaches in that locker room. They throw everything into it. No one felt worse than Tommy. I mean, this is a quality individual. We all understand the criticisms that come with this game and we understand that, but when you start taking it outside the field, to the house, to the kids, to me, you've crossed the line.
ask blessed coaches fortunate improve players question stable starts understand year
It starts at the top, there is no question about that. I've been very blessed and fortunate to be in a very stable organization. At the same time, you can take nothing for granted. You still have to go out there every year and improve yourself. You ask players to do it and I think as coaches you have to do it. I think we all understand that. I'm just very fortunate and blessed to be part of an organization that is very open, very stable and very understanding.
almost coaches group special surreal year
It's almost surreal right now. This is a special group of coaches and a special group of players. All year long they were resilient.
coach focused good highly next people short time
I know it's that time of year, unfortunately. Russ is a good coach ? People think very highly of him. We're focused right now. We have to play next week, potentially on a short week. That's all we're focused on.
black coaching coming due fans houston last north respect roof talk team wear work
But it is a competitive advantage. I said last week, if I were coaching in Houston and I had a team from the North coming down, I would -- with all due respect to the fans -- have the roof open, make them wear black and talk about it enough to have it work in their minds.
challenged coach good players
But our players know. This is still Baltimore. They still have some good players, and their coach challenged them and they responded.
came city coaches happy special
We came a long way. This is a special organization and I'm happy for the players, coaches and the city of Pittsburgh.
andre bowl coach football johnson national opportunity pro special turned
We had an opportunity to coach him in the Pro Bowl and that's a special player. Andre Johnson has turned into one of the better receivers in the National Football League.
beat coaches notice sound watch
You don't notice him much if you don't watch a lot of film. But the coaches see it all the time. He's really smart, he's really sound and, at any time, he's going to come up with a play to beat you.
