evil love money pierced root themselves
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
good image law offered sacrifices shadow year
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
bear dwell land might riches strangers
For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.
bread conceived hath mine mother oil played wool
For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.

For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
calling gifts god
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
against cannot contrary flesh spirit
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
heart holy rejoice shall trusted
For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name. (Psalms 33:21)
allowed deception god nor pleasing trust
For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: / But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
cross fools-and-foolishness perish power preaching saved unto
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
cease command hand land open poor shall shalt therefore thine thou thy unto wide
For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
expectation needy perish poor shall
For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
doth mystery taken until
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
against almighty array arrows god poison terrors themselves within
For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of God do set themselves in array against me.
