holy lifting men pray therefore wrath
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
cause eyes father feet knew
I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out.
ears poor
He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.
cursed earth portion swift
He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.
fools-and-foolishness judges maketh
He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
anyone child enter god kingdom receive
I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it
god good hath high signs toward wonders wrought
I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.
count divers faith fall joy knowing trying
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; / Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
affliction bowels days rested
My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.
blessed children faithful goodness man men proclaim
Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? / The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.
god gold great hidden man meek ornament outward putting quiet sight wearing whose
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; / But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
cometh dyed garments glorious greatness mighty speak travelling
Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
hold plead shall
Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
among conversation good knowledge man wise works
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
